I know there have been quite a few discussions about seat covers across these forums but they never seem to be quite fully flushed out by the end of the thread (such as buying HHR Covers from Wet Okole). I have just recently purchased my first HHR (and vehicle) and the interior is the "cashmere" color (beigey)...

i never thought id ever want to buy seat covers for my vehicle, because i think non-custom ones can become a hassle (constantly re-adjusting them) and look tacky, but after purchasing a newfoundland puppy this summer i have changed my mind!!! he sheds nice long black fur (i really wish id boughten the more expensive HHR with the ebony interior now! lol), although not as bad as many long haired breeds, enough to be noticeable. + hes a dog and a puppy and while im not worried about him messing in the car, any sort of mud or gunk from his paws can become an issue.

so im on the hunt for nice/perfect fitting seat covers that will look good within the beige/cashmere interior of my hhr!

so far from the forums and my own searching ive gathered these sites.

http://www.greatcovers.com/415/2007/model.html this site has both front and BACK seat covers (hard to find it seems!) and options for manual/automatic front bucket seats (of which i have manual). the color choices and fabric choices seem fairly diverse and the prices seem about in line when it comes to other "custom" seat cover sites.

and then wet okole of course... it seems from other forum posts you have to do some finaggling to get HHR covers, and you have to have black outsides which, until i have the money in a couple years to upgrade to a new LT HHR and get my ebony interior, will look weird with the cashmere interior and silver exterior.

has anyone done business with the top 3 sites? if so how where they? howd the fit/feel/last/install?

once i figure out what site to use ill then be stuck for awhile figuring out the fabric and color lol! since all the neo-prenes ive found use the black edges ive pretty much nixxed that idea... but between "waterproof" which is a "finely woven canvas feel" and doesnt sound too comfortable to me, the velour, and the microfiber...

so im stuck on that too!

any input is appreciated! igood/bad experiences with these sites, have your own site, thoughts on fabrics, and just anything seat covers!
