It's not the same as the non SS. I was talking to a guy with a SS and he said that the short shifter for the SS just came out not to long ago.

I have a cobalt short shifter and it works great. Love the feel of it.

Thats right. They non SS cobalt shirter kit fits right into the HHR. Dan-D and I bought ones for around 50 to 60 bucks. Didn't want to spent lots of money and not have it work. Heres two shifter kits on ebay.

The search link provided by BlackHHR above now produces 5 results, one of which does have a knob.

I guess there's still nothing for the MTX yet (not even a shiftknob replacement)? Aftermarket manufacturers are slow!
