I like it. I usually dive with my right hand on the shifter it feels better now.
Note to crowbar when install yours you may only have to take off the knob and shift boot to get the shifters switched. It looks like there is enough room to work with.

just got mine in, since i didnt get any directions it was a pain to install. pretty much had to guess where everything went. Theres actually a piece on the stock shifter assembly that you have to break and replace with a aluminum part that was with the aftermarket shifter. made some adjustments on the cables so the throw wasnt as long. drove around a little, i like it but im not happy with the autozone knob i have. i got a old hurst knob off my trans am like dan has, may use it.

dan do you still have your chrome aftermarket knob?

it feels better than stock did but not as well as i had expected

Are Automatic Trans ppl out of luck with shifters?

I'm sad because I would love to have some BLUE on my shifter, but they are all for manual trans. Am I out of luck? Hey, hi all - it's my first night on the forum!!

I am ordering a shifter now, and wondered what piece you have to 'break' to get the shifter in?

if youre looking at the shifter in the car, on the left side at the top youll see a round piece of plastic going through the case that acts as a pivot shaft for a white tab. the round shaft is what has to come out, its hard to explain if you have troubles ill try and help, pm me cause i may forget about the thread
