WTF...

how do you remove that damn rubber fill hose for the oil?
i tried to remove mine but i dont want to like tear it apart of ir just comes off...

also i see some of you just have that so-cal cap on urs.. does it fit right on the opening when you remove that rubber fillr tube?

Oil filler tube as I remember is a half turn to remove.
Yes the cap will fit properly after tube is removed.

Did you guys do anything special to paint the underhood plastic pieces? i.e. special primer or certain type of paints?

Yes, I allways use Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. Follow the directions faithfully, and it should go well. And don't be afraid of using clear, Rustoleum Cystal Clear works very nicely with most paint. And no , none that I used were high heat.
