Which size should I go with?
Ive got 20s in mind and an Eibach Pro kit for a little drop. Im looking at 3 different tire sizes. 225/30/20, 225/35/20, 235/30/20.
I read that alot of people go with 225/30/20 and maybe wish they went with the 35 series for a little more tire. Im leaning more towards 225/35/20 myself but just wanted to see what everyone though.
Ive had 20s before but the tire was a 255/35/20 on my truck so I know about riding of little rubber and I have most of the roads memorized where pot holes and dips are.
Whathca think?

As long as your wheels have the right offset, the 225/35/20 would be a good choice. The 225/30/20 is same as stock height, but given the fender gap and small sidewall they tend to look too small on the HHR unless it's really slammed. The 225/35/20 are a bit taller than stock and should work fine at stock height or with a mild drop. These tires look best on a 7.5 rim.

I would say, when it comes down to it, this is just a matter of personal opinion. Do you like a little meatier tire, or lower profile? Looks or ride quality?
I could be wrong, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I am. That is just what I got out of your question.

I know but I was one of the first to answer. I agree with you Betterof2evils4 ! for a thin tire on 20s, knowing from what people on here and friends that have 20s on thier cars, The thinner the tire the more harsh the ride is. If you want some protection from potholes and other objects in the road I would get the 225/35/20 like you where thinking about. And for a tire I like the BF G-Force's the ones with the fire tread pattern, I have heard that they ride real nice, and have long tread life. heres a link.....
