I picked up my 2010 LT Silver Ice Metallic last Friday. I waxed it with Liquid Ice and probably should have clayed barred it first. The finish still seems "rough" not really as slick as I am used to following a wax job. I noticed that on the roof it is especially "rough" and there is an area where you can see a curved pattern where the paint looks different -- kind of from smooth to dull. When I tried some wax on this area the microfiber towel seems to be picking up silver/gray paint on it. Could this be just overspray from the factory? I am taking it back to the dealership on Saturday to have them fix it but wonder if anyone else has seen this. It does not look terrible (you have to look hard to see it) but I want to get it checked out.

I think is was rail dust. I clay barred it and it is now smooth and the paint is perfect.
