It's okay. I can take it. It doesn't hurt my feelings one bit and solman is entitled to his opinion. Hell I don't even think I have feelings any more.

Talking

Personally I like the grill. It definatley takes some balls to cut your grill up, but I think it turned out well. Would I do it. Probably not.

I like the looks of CH's billet grill, but on the other hand I would never STICK ANYTHING to my car like a scoop. Personally I think they're cheezy. Again that's just me.

But hell I'm the nut that turned this

Into this

And this

Into this

Probably half the people on here would think I'm stupid. I could have bought a panel version for what I've got into this car in just parts. We all do what we do because we like it and it suck when people criticize it.

Bottom line, at least if you want to criticize, do it in a tackful way.

Thanks for the compliments folks...I've gotten a ton of compliments since adding the new grille. Been to several Chevrolet dealerships checking for the Fall Edition HHR and the salesmen loved it.

CHV FRK...love what you did to the car...it looks great after.

Nice job.

One question though, why not go ahead and shave the front doors?

Didn't want the hassle of electrical issues....and the main reason was the paint line. That was more important than "shaved handles. I might do it later if it just becomes just a show car.

Thanks for the comments.

Back to the grill...I'm thinking of doing a little something now. I'd really like to extend the lip.
