UMA where do you get the mesh to put behind the 3 bar grille after you make it I called Pep boys they said they only had mesh that was 8" high with 37" width which doesn't seem like it would be enough and they want 40 bucks for it

Yea home depot has the mesh it is squares but i turned it sideways to make it look like diamonds on the grille i also painted it black and it works perfectly and it only cost 8 dollars and there is enough left to do a whole other grille im almost done with my 3 bar its looking sweet probably gonna paint the whole thing flat black anyone have any ideas how to make it last against wear and tear i was just gonna primer it paint it black with like 3 coats and three coats of clear coat

Me too

I'm planning on doing the 3 bar grill to mine too. The ones I have seen look great. Nice and clean.

Although it looks less like a 49 burb,.

The flat black would look nice.
