STARR Wheels

I want to get these I know that someone has them on this site, and he was wondering if he was going to have any problems if he lowered it so I found the specs on their wheel site, I too want these. Do you think I will be able to drop it with goldlines. You can see the offset and size on the link below. Thanks for your help. For those of you coming to see me , see ya soon...

Not a chance! Maybe not even with rolling the fenders.

Good looking wheels though.

Dude, Don't roll eyes at someone trying to help. The funny thing is, HE'S PROBABLY RIGHT! Almost guaranteed to have issues.

That's understandable, But no reason to get frustrated because no one is responding. Look elsewhere for the answer if no one replies soon enough. Even the archrival's place... HHRclub.

Wrong offset; you shouldn't waste your time. You will need at least +42mm minimum (+45mm on wider wheels), for clearance on the HHR.

Write that down '06!

going by the specs listed....

Current Wheel Specs: 6.5 42MM offset
New Wheel Specs: 7.5 42MM offset

Inner Clearance: 13mm LESS
(the inside of the wheel to the strut housing)

Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 13mm
(position of the outside edge of the wheel)

as for tire sizes....

stock size: 215/55R16 =25.3in Diameter
20in tires: 225/30/20 =25.3in Diameter
only tire difference is 215 vs 225 ~.39in

so... you have .5in extra on each side of the rim, and about .25in of tire.

the real question is how much room to people have lowered and stock tires?
