steerinig wheel emblem cap

Ok, anyone know of removal of the emblem cap in the center of the steering wheel and replacements ?

I'm debadging my panel.
Three bowties remain.

and yes but you can always tell DH and I apart
I curtsy and besides, I'm prettier

Yes, its OC. first day I got her
Not a lot of 'full panel' HHRs but that's cool with me. Love Old School

It is not an easy job, at least it wasn't for me. I ended up with a messed up center. Tough to replace too since the underside is "domed" just like the emblem. I gouged out some to be able to fit an emblem I had made fit.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a replacement. Some have painted it, used vinyl or got a dash kit.

tanks nachos for the link. I'm not used to the forum yet and did a search, clearly incorrectly :smiles:
I had the transformer idea myself but may just leave it alone.
wanted to get rid of the bowtie but one can survive I guess :)

Ellie,
Glad to have another 2-seater in HB. Now back to the dental floss ( grin) and heat gun and get rid of those badges !!!!

Hair dryer worked just great with a little assist from the floss. My chickletts, hhr, panel and LT badges are removed. Thinking about the Gold bowties and emblem cap.

additions: stubbie antennea and "ahh OOO gaa" horn on order.

I'll be at the Surf City 1/2 Marathon Sunday :)
