Yep, that price seems to be right-on, I sorta remember hearing it, just before I fell over, Sticker/Price shock...

I'm sure if someone posts in the Classified section who either has them or is looking for them, someone from here will have them just hanging around. I personally left mine on after getting the boards installed for the added protection.

I 3M that I saw on the 07's I have seen, appears to be thicker than the stuff they use for clear bras and such, but I could be wrong.

So did I.

After seeing the damage to Jay's rear fenders with factory RBs, I'm glad I did.

I think the earliest 2007s did have the same guards as the later 2006s. The film seems to be a mid production year change.

Body side moldings are the parts that the running boards replace, not the chip guards.

Nope, the chip guards are the parts deleted from veh. w/boards.
I may get a set.
I`ve had a classified going for almost a year, no replies...

Nope you missed the point of my remark. If boards are ordered from the factory chip guards are indeed deleted. That was not my point. There is a molding on the non-board vehicles that MUST be removed to install running boards. That part is the body side molding, not the chip guards on the fenders. The chip guards are, well just that, chip guards, not body side molding.

Ok, since I have boards OEM, I can only assume you don`t, but, if you would go back to the Black HHR in the posts on the first page, please point out the pieces you believe are body mouldings...
