Is there a place that you can still order running boards from?

Dealers CAN still get the ones that are in color, however, they tend not to do this so they make more money.
I helped another member look for hers, after we found them, her Dealer had to order them.
I will see where and what I can find just need to know the color.

You can order from the factory with the bds on them.
If you get a used one you would have 2 options.
1st the dealers will tell you that you can get it in a primer and have it painted.
2nd do a lot of internet searching and calling. There are still a lot of the pre painted ones around, If I remember correctly mostly on the west coast.

I have a huge dilemma. Well...maybe some of you will think that it's not, but I need help: I am buying an amethyst HHR, but of the two I'm looking at, one has boards on it, but it has a 2.2 L engine. I wanted the amethyst with a 2.4 L engine. The 2nd one has a 2.4 L engine, but no boards. Should I go with the 2.4 L and hope that I can find boards later? I can't afford to spend a whole lot of money, but I could afford to spend 400 - 500 dollars if I found amethyst boards. Thanks in advance, guys.

If they are from the same dealer, talk them into switching them out.

You won't find the boards in your color. GM is only offering them primered now(unless you order the car with them), you'd have to have them painted.

Size: 5.6 KB to the site!!! I would try to get one with boards. Many are starting to find it hard to get them after the fact for a decent price so it's cheaper to get them now as opposed to later. Have them switch them out!!!
