For those who are thinking about removing their rear wiper...

This past weekend I removed my rear wiper assembly while in the process of de-badging the tailgate etc... I'm wasn't quite sure what I wanted to cover the hole with. I don't want to fill permanently as I would like the option of re-installing the wiper when / if I sell the HHR. Well in the meantime (and maybe permanently) I found this brushed stainless sink plug in Lowes for $1.98. The threaded pipe fits perfectly in the wiper hole and it even comes with a gasket. It's held in place with a large plastic, hand tightened washer. I'm not exactly sure what I will do with it yet...paint it, add a chevy bowtie... I may need another bowtie as I'm in the process of smoothing the beauty bar. Just wanted to let everyone know about a cheap way to temporarily or permanently plug your wiper hole... No chuckling!
