Transformers Theme

The transformation has begun
I had a package waiting in my mailbox for me this afternoon:
on the hood
[IMG][/IMG]
on the back bumper

one on each side

I'm still waiting for 3 other purchases from ebay(Iron on patches for headrests, wheel center caps, steering wheel center cap)...the coolest thing so far is the fact that I've only spent $20 with shipping.

What's the deal with HHR's and Transformers? I had someone tell me last week that I should add a bunch of Tranformer stuff to my wagon because it looked like a Transformer. I personally love the Transformer movies but I don't think I'd go as far as junking up my wagon with a bunch of Tranformer logos. One on the steering wheel would be cool and I may end up going that route, but there are too many people around here that throw Tranformers stickers on their rides and I think it's a little played out. I always say especially when it comes to peoples rides...do what you like and not what everyone else likes because you're the one that drives it daily. That being said, I can't wait to see the other additions!

There was a marketing tie in with the HHR and the movie back in 2007, haven't seen the film so I can't say if there is or isn't an HHR Autobot on screen.

Sweet! I don't recall ever seeing one in the movie...probably just a marketing tie like you said.

I just want something a little different. I did see the first and second movie, No HHR in it but I am a GM guy. I'm not one to keep my vehicle stock, because then its like everybody elses It wont be over the top in my opinion. Chefhhr I havent really seen much for stickers and such in my neck of the woods. around here its all about the kids with the fart can exhaust and fake pinstripes..... I have customized every car i have ever owned

1st:90 honda accord-Installed sunroof(waste of money), flames on sides(too popular) painted valve cover, aftermarket fogs

2nd:06 cobalt ls- Had red bowties on the C pillars. K&N filter. 3rd brake light cover, 20% tint

3rd: 07 HHR 2lt- had 3 different grilles(stock,billet,3 bar), painted bowties, smoked taillights, jet chip(wasted money) michelin floor mats, twin 1200 watt subs

4th: CURRENT 08 HHR SS- K&N filter, superchips cortex, smoked taillights, and partially transformed

The transformers theme is a little different than most visual mods (flames, two tone, new rims, grille, etc) its more of a challenge to me and I have heard a few times from friends and family "that would be cool". So the transformation is under way.

I feel you on the fake pinstripes...one of the main reasons I removed them from my fenders...I started seeing them around here on everything from dodge ram pickups to mustangs.
