The car needs chrome MORE CHROME!

Went to a car show tonight, check out the chrome:

Picked up some 3/4" chrome earlier and will get it installed in the next day or 2 if it's not blazing hot again like it has been. Haven't decided if I'll go wheel well to wheel well...or just below the doors like Harpo said. Decisions...decision. Will post pics when it's done.

I got there late, so I did not get many pictures and then night came...
Great paint job. I love cars from the 1960's. They just make me smile

Thanks for the photo links. The car looks good!
I like your use of narrow chrome trim around the running boards. Good solution .

I look forward to your results. It will look good. Your ride always does

I went with my empty 3/4 " chrome package to Autozone. I wanted them to order some, but they are not allowed to carry it?
They are the largest auto store near a major submarine base and they carry no roll out chrome?? The ricers gather in their parking lot for crying out loud?

No Pep Boys nearby, so it is mail order agin. This part of CT is almost the boondocks
So I'll call the chrome manufacturer tomorrow and open an account I may as well carry their line. Why not?
Sarge's Comics and Chrome!
I get a lot of sailors in and many of them have cars they customize.
