What is it?

I hope this is not a dumb question, but in the interior of the HHR....on the pillar on each side of the windshield is a round little grill that looks like a miniture speaker grill. I wonder what it's purpose is? Does anyone know? It seems that there are so many things to wonder about and you never know unless you ask. Thanks.

Joseph....

If you are speaking of the little grills on EACH SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD, ON THE PILLAR POSTS AND ABOUT 3-4 INCHES UP FROM THE DASH...that is tweeter speakers to your radio system.

Thanks for all your replys about the tweeter speakers. I didn't realize what was going on there. I am 76 years old, but my wife and I enjoy our HHR. We have had it since August, 2006 and with 28,000 miles (only expense so far is oil changes, tire rotation and gas) and now I know where my tweeters are........thanks.....Joseph
