Curious to hear from those that have. I want to just do the two windows but am unsure what might look best. I was thinking %35...any thoughts? Any pics of your ride with those two windows done? Thanks all.

20% was an almost perfect match...not legal here though!

 

to chevyhhr.net...the best place on the internet for anything HHR.

Don't know what percentage mine are...all I know is the shop that did them
said they were the same as my rear windows.

 

20% it's illegal here in NY and one ticket so far.

 

You can really see the difference here. Mine, SE, has 20%, my wife's is before we did hers.

 

Thanks guys, I know the backs are about %20 factory and the fronts are about
%70 factory, so adding %20 film would be a little darker, adding %35 percent a little lighter than the backs. They are illegal here two, but I've done %35 on all my vehicles for years and never had a problem.....keep the replies coming...hoping for some people who've done lighter than %20 in front to chime in with some pics.

I am not sure how the %'s work but, I have limo rears, 1 step darker on the front, over factory. Limo on the windshield visor and sun roof.



My fronta are illegal, I havent been stopped or even given a second look at cops when I pass by.

 

A lot of quick responses...cool. %20 does look really nice...I'm just a little worried it might be too dark to get away with here. %35 on my silver impala really looks dark (lighter car) and I'm surprised I haven't had troubles. My HHR is black so the contrast won't be sooo obvious maybe....
