I did 15% all the way around except for the rear hatch. This provides near"invisible" in the rear and great sun protection in the front.

I went with 35% indiana legal in the front. I left the rears factory stock. I sometimes have to deliver pizza's, and I prefer to be able to see when backing out driveways. You would be amazed how many people have culverts or other hazards at the end of driveways.

I planned on getting 20% on my front windows on Satruday, but I didn't even think about the fronts already being 70%. I may have to rethink that. I don't want the fronts darker than the rears. I'd rather have it the other way around if I can't get a perfect match.

I have 20% on my fronts. When the police officer put the tint meter on my HHR it came out that I blocked 83% of the light so it worked out to 17% tint on the fronts. 17% is close enough to 20% for me. The only time you can tell there is a difference is at night when you unlock the doors and the interior lights come on. Then it is slightly noticeable that there is a difference in shade on the front windows versus the rest of the windows.

I'm thinking of going and getting my fronts done today. I stopped in the shop a few months ago and spoke to them about what's legal and what isn't. They claim that the whole legal/illegal percentages don't apply to SUV's, which is what our cars are according to the government crash tests. I'd like to have my fronts match the rears. I was just worried that a lighter tint on the two fronts would look stupid, but I guess any tint on the fronts, even if lighter, looks better than none at all.
