Who doesn't want new side markers?

I've noticed on this and other car forums that people want smoked or clear side marker lights. I thought I did, too, then got to looking around my Victory Red SS. The red rears and amber fronts blend in nicely. I think black or clear would clutter the lines. I could see clear working with silver; smoked with black, gray or green, but it's a bad idea for my car. Anyone else come to this shocking "no modify" conclusion?

Mine are smoked, but I think the black compliments the orange nicely. I think the yellow marker looked fine, but the red just looks so out of place against the orange to me.

I too like my marker lights just the way they came from the factory.

I would agree depending on the color, as you do- my silverstone looks great with the clear markers up front, you can't even really see them until you're up close, making a much cleaner front end- I think most people as a whole do it to their cars because it's a cheap mod that is reversible if necessary...

I want clear ones since I have a white car, the side markers just stick out alot I think. Its just to bad that they only have clear ones for the front and not the rear other wise I would already have them.

I agree about orange cars. A picture of one with smoked is what prompted me to consider them for my car. You're right about the red lenses not working with orange paint.

Thumbs up =)

I have clear fronts with clear amber LEDs, but I have a white HHR so the clear blends in much nicer than the amber lenses.

What I am waiting patiently for is someone to create checkered mirror caps like they have for the mini cooper!

with a red hhr they look good, but with any other color, eh...

I tinted my front and backs and just have the oval ones on the rear bumper to do. You can barely see that mine are there. You either need the right light on them since they still reflect or for them to light up at night. Love how it all blends together, especially with my black led tails. I've seen a couple other black hhrs around and the reflectors stick out so much to me now.

Wink I like my smoked lenses.

They look great against the blue. I wish I could get a set of smoked for the rear.

I agree with Pappa... I think they look great against the blue.
did my 4 with blue tint. from far away they just look smoked
on clears I think it would look better... that is if somebody would make clear rear markers.
