I think the point of this thread could've been made with a simple PM instead of a whole new thread to call someone out because they don't want to go to a g2g...

BTW...I like modding my HHR but to each his/her own.

I personally love the modding it just makes it your own personal statement. Just about everything I have owned has been modded but I believe the whole thing is the hhr is very cool modded or not.

YUP --- hubby has it in his Magnum... it's hilarious -- when he locks it and it "chirps", ours sounds like it has a hairball!!

Nothing wrong with a stock HHR at all. Even without doing anything to your HHR...it's still one of the coolest looking cars on the road. When I bought mine, I had no intention of doing much to it other than tinting the front windows to match the rear and adding a nice pinstripe to break up all the orange.

With that said...guess that went flying out the window after I joined the forums...but even if I hadn't done a thing to my HHR...I'd still want to meet with other HHR owners, both in person and online.

It's fun talking with others about our common interest...the HHR and making new friends.

You are probably right Ng, but I'm kind of talkative, if you hadn't noticed...and, it was twice in one log-in that I saw someone say they would avoid a G2G out of "car shyness". That's just not right. Once you come to a G2G you see that it's just not that way.

Black Beauty - I've been guilty sooo many times for my shortspeak - I expect everyone to be in my head and know what I'm "trying" to say... ulp..

No, my car is not stock and I'm sooo stinkin' proud of the little dudette. I never could do this - never! It took husband #2 and 18 yrs of marriage and for some reason, THIS YEAR was our year... we bought them and have played with them all year long. Will I ever do it again? Dunno -- tomorrow is another day!

CH if we had wanted to look like thousands of other cars we would have bought an import where all makes look the same.

I've gone to a couple of G2G's and felt my mostly stock HHR was a bit boring compared to others, but I'm happy with mine as it is. I felt I have done enough to personalize it and make it mine without going overboard. But as others have said here, to each thier own, and that's what makes this site fun. Lot's of different ideas and opinions, and lot's of great rides.

I didn't mean like that. I meant thousands of stock HHRs. Like if person A drives a stock black 2LT HHR with a spoiler there is really no difference between person B's stock black 2LT HHR with a spoiler or any of the other thousands of stock black 2LT HHRs with spoilers. I guess my point was to make yours stand out from the bunch because we already stand out from the crowd.
