Dang...I'm starting to have second thoughts about my HHR tatoo I got last week. I really thought it looked good under my Harley tatoo, and the one that says Pink Floyd Rules.

rambled, kinda long, sorry...!!!

well I'll reply to this... the MR and I met in a car club of fixed up mini trucks, we both each had one.. very different but similiar... we all have our own taste but ours weren't the same... he had a monster stereo system of 8 12's an enormous amount of wattage, mine was without a system but had nice newly released style wheels, new size back in the day were 17's a new shell on it with blazer windows... therefore, we kept doing what made us both happy... then we moved on and had a family so there goes the minitrucks into 4 dr Neons we go... little by little we went extreme with both of them also!!!!!! one for each of us and like before, he has another enormous sound system in it with 6 10's in the back and a full sponsorship of amps, mine was clean and completley purple inside and out... so here we are with the HHR, our family car, for the kids that are coming close to puberty... needed more leg room... well of course lil by little MR has been doing some stuff to her... a small system in the spare tire area, an intake, my billet grille, and now he's going to do her paint... that's just us, but she wont be complete until I get those hubcaps off of her... my gosh, HUBs, that is SO NOT US!!!!!!!!! so yah WE went to a small g2g/meeting and I'm glad I was parked in the back, I was the only one with hubs... someday tho... MR would like to put 20's but I want the ride and distance still so I think I will push 18's... who knows , that time isn't here yet... so this is just my rambling... to have mods running thru your veins it's hard to be yourself when you dont feel she is complete... MR will agree, i think...

I'm holding out for a yellow SS special edition HHR with black racing stripes. That's all the modding I'll ever need. It will be unique because the number produced is limited.

Come on Chevy, here my pleas!

SS production numbers aren't so limited now days. The only current SS model I don't see that many of is the Trailblazer SS in all of it's big bad ass beauty.

This also sounds like the kind of person who wouldn`t want to be on a site where people discuss altering Mr. Nesbitt`s creation, that we bought with the understanding that it was perfect already and any changes would be sacrilege.
You must've scored above average marks on reading comprehension back in grade school, eh? It shows.

I wasn't bashing people who "mod" their cars. Just people who crank it up to 11 and push the car over the cliff. For example, I like Corvettes, even modified ones, but when I say that I think the abortion of a car that used to be a Corvette that appeared in "Corvette Summer" is probably the ultimate example of out-of-control modding, that doesn't mean I'm bashing everyone who does some sort of mod to their cars.

"11", is in the eye of the beholder.
Some people think that the HHR, and many other cars, are perfect from the factory. That said, pinstripping would take it to (11).
You want to have your cake and eat it too, if you don`t want to mod your ride, what do you care one way or another about what I do to mine.
That`s why I can`t understand why you would even be on a site about a car, there are hundreds of thousands of people who drive/own HHR`s who don`t come to sites like this, because that`s their mindset.

I LOVED the movie "Corvette Summer" when it first came out, in the late 70's

A few years before "A long, long time ago.....in a galaxy far, far away........"

Come on now, not an inch of stick on door molding was used....

They even converted it to right hand drive.

This was modified....... Like it or not.

Here's even a clip from the movie, a blast from the past....
