Zymol confusion
Zymol confusion
I recently bought and used this:

but I found that it left a dull, half-assed shine compared to a fairly cheap turtlewax of some sort. I'm confused. Can someone explain how this is possible?!

No hazing here at all and been using that brand for years... That is the most recent wax I've been using on my three vehicles. Deep glossy finish after buffing out and little if any powdery residue.
As long as you follow the typical prep and good cleaning prior then following waxing instructions with a annual claybar prep each year...

I've used Zymol for years and have been very impressed with it and in fact it really covers up swirls and light scratches better than almost anything else I have tried.
And to top it off, it smells great

I used the Zymol this weekend and the shine was very good and no haze. I was waxing it right as it was getting dark. I did feel that it dried very quick so you really can only do a very small section at a time. It says in the instructions to not let the wax haze. Wipe it off brfore it dries. No dust. Very happy with the product.
