I do have a mulitmeter and I have tested and made sure all my wires work correctly. Used the large wires from the fuse box for the power and used the car body as a ground.

That color code doen't seem right. Do you have the premium sound option? GM has always (accept bose) used
LF +tan, -grey RF +Lt. green, -Dk. Green
LR +Dk. brown, -yellow RR +Dk. Blue, -Lt. blue

and most gms use a orange as constant and yellow as switched and a black or black/yellow as ground. Newer cars have started to defferinate from the power side but not the speaker side. I tested this on my car with the mulitmeter and these are the correct colors for my car. I "poped" them to make sure.

i dont have the premium stereo because i knew i was going to tearing it out. i used the codes that i posted and they worked and have been for almost 3 months now.
