Ok after hearing a dozen people tell me that I need to keep my aftermarket CD player, does anybody know of a dash kit that fits the contour and color of the HHR dash? The one that the dealer installed sticks out at the bottom corners of the kit and yesterday evening my girlfriend cut her finger on the kit. (I pulled it out and sanded it smooth this morning but it looks even more like crab (with a "P" instead of a "b"). Thanks Guys and Gals

 

I got mine from crutchfield when I ordered a new radio and it fits pretty good. will have to paint it if you want a color match though.

 

Just for peoples random knowledge, there are several dash kits that fit, but be weary of those that have the bottom corners sticking out. (After an hour of arguing and now being banned from the local Car Audio shop, there is a kit from Metra that is a single din kit that does fit and look nice.) Unfortunatly in my hast I forgot to look at the model number of the kit but it is easy to identify because it has a curved face. (Matches the contour of the dash.) Hope this helps somebody.

 

99-3302 is the single din kit from Metra. 95-3302 is the double din kit.
