Anyone install HD Radio?

I asked the same question on this forum almost a year ago with no answer. I figure alot of areas don't have much HD programming. Even here in San Diego there's not much, so I'll stick with my MP3 player or wait another year to see how sat radio is doing...Here's my 2cents worth link from crutchfield. In this app, it looks like a gateway/adaptor is needed (similar to ipod interface to hook it up

You need the Peripheral/iSimple PXAMG media gateway, which adds an iPod interface and rear aux input, accompanying GM harness and the Peripheral/iSimple HD Radio tuner. You're looking at about 150-300 to get HD Radio for the HHR using the stock sound system.
Also, the gateway requires a radio that is XM ready.

Although you don't have to pay a monthly fee, what's the point of having HD radio? In some places the programming is at best minimal (local traffic channel).
I live in San Diego. Although not as large a radio market as LA or SF, few of the local stations are using the extra channel capability.

San Diego, KGB 101.5 HD2 is almost all music, and a good variety of , classic rock, some 70's and 60's it has a DJ but just basically lets you know what is coming up to play, been listening for a week now and not a lot of repeats. Good mix give it a try.
