Hello!

I bought a 2007 HHR project a few weeks back and am wanting to add satellite radio. I know I would need a head unit with the "CAT" button, an antenna, and the receiver but what else would be needed for an install using factory components?

Are steering wheel controls a "drop in" upgrade? What about onstar? Not sure if I will go that far but it would be nice to know out of curiosity.

Which CD players will work with what I have (pure base model most likely)? What are the differences between the regular CD player and the 6-disc changer aside from the obvious?

Well I have an 2006 HHr LT2 & a 2007 Pontiac G6 GT, I just replace the Head unit in my G6 and it was a doozy, first after buying an 7" DVD, Backup camera, Ipod, Aux, USB connector, SD Card reader, Bluetooth, Navigation, double Din aftermarket unit, I had to also purchase a Metra 95-3303b DIC unit, because it had to be installed into my glove box because of the DD unit, all because they put the DIC in the Head unit of the G6, also had to switch my Xm radio over to the mobile sport unit costly but worth it, but on my HHr I won't have to worry about all of that if I change the Head unit.
