Can I use the fusebox empty slots for other things?

I'm just wondering if I can tap into the fuse box and slap a fuse in an empty slot and then run a wire on the other side to power a line driver or something.

I don't know for sure, but .. you would have to take the halves apart to do the splicing anyway that would be the way to check. I am guessing that the hot side of all the connections is indeed hot, just no wire on the other side.

It should be just find to do that. Anything in the fuse box that has battery power that's not switched on and off with the key should come from the main battery cable connection.

Just make sure you use the correct fuse size for what ever your powering
