I UP GRADED MY 08 LT PANEL TO XM. The kit was $165 plus $38 shipping from GMPARTSDIRECT.com, $202 from my local dealer and arrived the next day. The install was quit simple, but took time, the controller is mounted in the console and the wires run to rear onstar antenna. Up the left side and drop the headliner all the way back and replace the antenna with a new one with xm and onstar. Turned it on and away we went. Called onstar and they informed I had 3 months free on my new car that is going on 2 years old. I am ready for the $64 a year deal in 3 months. The plastic pry tools saved the day, the cars of the day snap together. I believe this is less cost than the factory installed xm. I now have xm in the Z06, Tahoe and HHR and home, love it.
