2009 hhr lt speakers

I want to buy speakers to replace what is in my 2009 HHR lt. I really need some guidance here. Looked at crutchfield.com and not sure if speakers r pioneer system or not. I think they might be...but how do I know?

Can someone tell me what all I'll need? Can I replace the small speakers by the front window too? Do I need adapters, what tools?

I work on computers but cars are a mystery to me. Thanks?

Yep if you have a sub in the back it would be the pioneer. I'm gunna assume you don't cause there aren't normally complaints about the pioneer system. Anyway if you aren't good with cars or electronics I would find a reputable shop to install the speakers. Crutchfield has good prices and I believe sell speakers with all the hardware and wiring and adapters you need. I got my speakers replaced with Sony xplods. They are good but not fabulous. Better than stock though. This would be my

Hey all.

A great way to see how your HHR's speakers are fit, and how the door panels clear them etc, is to go to the auto wrecker and look at a torn up one.

I just saw 3 out here when I bought my used stock rims, and it sure helps to figure out how things are put together before taking yours apart.

I have them in all my doors and they sound much better than the old pioneer system i now have better high's and i had the stereo store add some dynamat type stuff before installing the speakers helps alot.
and you don't need adapters if you buy the right size 61/2 i believe front & rear.
hope that helps...
