8 12"s with the seats up?

2 of those, total of 1200w rms (under rated) final ohm load of 1. 220 shipped to your door. Now, who still thinks that 12w7 at 1000w rms for $500+ is still a good deal?

These subs are the JOKE. 44hz fs for the 10"? 36hz fs for the 12? And the worst part yet....33hz for the 15? So their 15 can't even dig very well below 30hz? I guess they are COUNTING on cabin gain to make up for the lack of ability from their subs lol
.These numbers are more typically found on cheap subs or Pro audio woofers. But these have a pretty low sensitivity so I would say they fall into the former category.
BTW FWIW I do not own JL products at all but I am not foolish enough to say that they are not a high quality brand.
Most those other subs you mentioned though are also said to be very decent I will give you that.

These are the lower line anyway. that's why they are so cheap. I still would rather have 2 of those than a 12w7, even if they were priced the same or the JL was $1,000 or whatever ridiculous price they sell them for.
My 12w3 for example = stamped steel basket.
I said it before, I'll say it again: JL is over priced for the sake of making consumers think they are some how better and worth that money. But if you look at other brands, you can get the same performance for a LOT less.
Their amps are ridiculous too. I see 1000w rms going for $500 on craigslist, USED.
Yet I somehow get 1500w rms OR MORE from my $180 sundown I got on craigslist? And no, sundown isn't junk. They are just appropriately priced.
Sorry to bring up some of your older posts but these make me laugh and truely discredit any and all of you opinions when it comes to car audio. That is not to say you are wrong on all accounts because I do agree with most of the subs you suggested as being good subs but some of your other view points are seriously lacking in actualu knowledge.
Here in the beginning of October you say that your Vifa's are great speakers. And everything I read seems to say similar but then less then a month later here you are stating that you blew them because you ran them without a x-over. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM M. Sorry but once again I suggest you learn learn and learn some more.
And that last part about the placement...REALLY....SERIOUSLY please take some time to learn.

that tisssss only happens with cheap tweeters.
I have some vifa's right now and they have no hisssssssss because they are quality tweeters. $15 each shipped from ebay and they blow the doors off of the $60 pairs of tweeters at local car audio shops.
I know "$60 for tweeters, what did you expect" but seeing as how you can get way better for less, used, there is no point in going to best buy and spending $100+ on tweeters.
tweeters in the middle cubby would give the passenger and driver their own left and right channels, as apposed to having the left/right all the way on the other side of the car, out of balance.

Second, I've seen SQ vehicles with dash mounted tweeters or full ranges, with that exact same setup - passenger and driver with their own left and right, equally spaced apart. The stock tweeters point towards the other a-pillars. Not exactly what I would call a well thought out position.
So just because they are cheap they do not need a x-over??? You are sooooooooo funny.
It sounds like either you saw someone who did a center channel or someone who did HCLR setups. It can be done but not the way you were intending. Please stop you are just digging yourself in deeper and showing even more lack of knowledge.

No I'm saying they only cost $20 and that's not a lot to me, so I didn't care. I did get a xec-700 after that for the next time I get tweeters.
And no, like I said, I saw a vehicle that had their own left and right for both passenger and driver and if you read my previous comment, the tweeters in the stock position face EACH OTHER, not passenger or driver. I can guarantee that putting tweeters in the center console storage, facing forward would be a great improvement. Assuming the stock tweeters were altered to face forward as well. Otherwise you would only get sound from the center, obviously. But I take it I can't say anything without being specific or some people will take it to heart and act like I'm a pro at this, giving them solid advice.
