That's an awesome price. You really have the hook up! Why does Crutchfield say this thing don't fit?? Not that I'm really paying attention, or would ever buy from them, but I really like how they suggest all the extras you'll need at checkout. Even though their prices are higher than everywhere else, sometimes they throw those extras in for free or at a pretty reasonable discount.

Are you still planning on getting this unit? It's the one I have my eye on as well. Is that 2gb memory for GPS data only?

No indash for me. I own 7 vehicles. One of them is a motorhome, another I tow behind the motorhome, a couple of daily drivers for me and my wife (SUV & Pickup), and the HHR as a combo of fun and work (on nice days). The others are oldies that I rarely drive. To try to outfit them all with indash would be a fortune. If I were to go this route, I'd have to outfit 5 (motorhome, towed vehicle, SUV, pickup and HHR). I have 2 portable units that work fine and I can easily upgrade to new units as technology advances.
