aftermarket radio compatibilty

quick question for all you guys with aftermarket radios. my 09 hhr has the Premium Sound System with usb. i am thinking of getting a new head unit, one with a touch screen. looking at a Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD from crutchfield.crutchfield says that radio will fit, i just have to get all the proper adapters to make it work with hhr.it has Steering Wheel Control Compatibility and i want to know does that function work like the oem steering controls. will it change volume, radio stations,cd tracks and usb functions for ipod with no problem.thank you

according to this site it says it can control any of the "9 specific Pioneer functions. Volume Up, Volume Down, Mute, Track Up, Track Down, Source, Preset Up, Preset Down and Band".... a lil bit cheaper too

We will soon find out as I am getting ready to change everything out with the AVH-P3100DVD head unit. Ordered it all and just waiting for it to show up.
