Question amp help plz!!!!

ok guys i just picked up my new 2006 LT and i wanna run my amp wires but im lost in where to conect the remote wire. my deck is stock and i dont have the SB1 package so i dont have an exsiting hookup. can some one tell me how you think i can run the remote wire?

and one more question sice i really wanna do this right. i see alot of you useing the sport where the sub "can" go mine doesnt have a grill on it and it looks sealed is it able to just pop off if i wanna put one of my subs there?

you will probably need to get a stock sub frame. if you have the solid cover there's nothing behind that except plastic. I took mine out and had to drill the tabs off the cover to open it up.

Hey Jiggz, there is a pink wire coming off the back of one of your stock HU plugs. This is the "remote turn-on" wire (it can also be used to power an electric antenna). Tap into that wire and run it to your external amp's remote turn on connection and you're golden. I ran mine (remote wire), down the driver side under the sill plates, under the rear seat, and into the tray above the spare tire where I mounted my sub amp. Works a charm.

if for some reason, this happened to one person, and the car doesnt start after hitting the pink wire use this see post #31 for a remote or switched source
