So i took the car in, they replaced the pre-amp that all the sounds travel through (im not a car buff so im going off what i was told) and i left the dealer pretty happy, all other things i asked about were fixed, car was clean, it was all good. Not 5 minute from my house the radio popped and went silent again, same problem. Dealer is stumped and so am i. Any suggestions? I think he said his next step is replacing the radio.

I'll have to get some pics up of mine tonight, small cabnet with an 8" from Hertz on a PA monoblock... small footprint but very punchy for an 8", I had a remote gain wired up because it's a little too punchy some times.

But I do have the factory head unit that the shop cracked in to to hyjack the line-out.

Anyone in this area would do well to go see him... he took 2 days to document and photograph everything so he doesn't take so much of a hosing the next time someone shows up with an HHR
