I have them running on a sony xm 4045

They seem clearer and louder than on the head unit.

Btw i didnt unhook them from the mids, but i turned the bass all the way down and the mids to -6 out of -8 on the head units equilizer.

I was thinking of getting some components, but it sounds like i dont really need to
