back seat amp?

back seat amp?

just curios if anybody has removed the rear seats in there HHR and if soo is there enough room underneath that back seat to shove a amp under there and put the seat on top of it?

Might be a better place for an amp in the storage/spare tire well or tucked in one of the rear quarters. I think its pretty tight under the seat if memory serves me right.

yea just trying to make everything as "stealth" as possible without taking up to much cargo space and im trying to avoid too much cutting and trimming.. reason being i work in new Orleans.

Do you have the premium sound with the factory sub woofer? If you don't there is a tailor made spot in the left rear quarter where the factory sub and amp go. It should be nothing but empty space if you don't have that option.

i knew about that empty space . but i couldn't find any internet links on how i could remove that back left panel if you know how or have a link could you share it?

There is plenty of room under the rear seat. You don't have to take it out. Just remove the plastic thing with two storage compartments that is directly behind it. This allows access to under the seat. Also the rear wall of where the tire is next to the battery. Just unsnap the plastic piece where the bottom of the rear gate would shut to gain better access for installation.
