Backup Camera - anyone installed this model on their HHR?

I thought about putting this in my HHR, but wanted to use the oem MIRROR and backup camera.





or some kind of aftermarket kit.

$10 ebay camera here. Love it.

Of course I don't need 720p capturing with military spec. ops night vision....

Wish I would have seen that license plate light camera before I bought this one though. It's so sleek and neat. And doesn't require much thought into wiring it up...

BTW my night vision works pretty well.




This one was actually from a round type camera from frys for $30.

Not bad. But you need a hole to mount it.




I have it bolted in now. This pic is when I first installed it.

I've got one very similar on my Ranger. Bought it on Walmart.com for 14 bucks. I run it through my Pyle GPS/DVD receiver. It's all cheap Chinese stuff but it works pretty well for the little I have invested in the whole setup. The truck is parked overnight on the street or in the driveway. I wouldn't be heartbroken if it got stolen like I might be if I had higher end more expensive stuff in it.
