Which knob are you using? Does the case come apart like the RF PEQ?

Willing to cut the dash up a little?

I suggest making a mount in the center console. Attach the knob to the top so it's solid/sturdy. Now you have a stealth bass knob.

Also is it a gain or a bass boost knob? Or a pac LC-1 type of thing?

Don't use bass boost/bass boost knob. Clips your subs.

 

It's the bass knob that came with my Rockford fosgate r500-1d amp and yes it comes apart

 

Bass knob lets u control ur amp it a question was wondering where ppl are putting them don't look rite under steering wheel last car I had just shoved it between seat

I removed the bass knob mounting box and placed mine between the rear wiper control and the charging port.

 

That's where the car stereo store put mine after installing my amps...
