UPDATE
Just got done talking to the serivce manager and he told me that his GM guy told him they wouldn't do anything else until it was returned to original condition.
Threatened both the BBB and corp. GM. His answer was go ahead.
This is such a bunch of BS. I'll go ahead with the complaints, on hold with GM to check my complaint status now.
I really can't force them to do anything. I am trying to make so much noise that they fix it to shut me up.
Short of a lawyer, any suggestions on how to handle this.

if you have a lawyer give it a shot tell him whats going on. that maybe the push you need to motivate the dealer
Moral of the story... "if it's not broke, don't fix it". Perhaps if you would have been honest and upfront with them from the beginning and told them exactly what happened, they might have known of a simple solution without the run around. Try going to a reputable auto electonics shop, if they don't know what's wrong, then probably nobody will. Sometimes it's worth paying extra $ to save yourself the grief. It's obvious that the dealership is now on the defensive and will not try to help you since they feel it is outside their "guidelines".
Update
Does anyone know the output of the lowend OEM radio.
Is it a 2ohm unit like the premium radio?
the reason I'm asking is that I was just trying to put in oem speakers that mudbilly was cool enough to give me, and I notice that the pair for the front are 4ohm and the rears are 8ohm. (might be the other way around)
The thing is that I need to know if these will satify the dealer.
At this point I'm ready to take it to a shop and just have them fix whatever the problem is. Gonna cost a couple hundred to do that though.

GDZ, since the REAL cause of the problem is the antenna, Your after market speakers are OK, you know that... This may be avoided IF you talk to the service Manager , fess up, and agree to pay whatever it should cost to repair the antenna.
Maybe, just maybe you can avoid further problems. You know you`ll want you A/M speakers back after the repair anyway...
