Bluetooth Problem

A few weeks ago my radio antenna finally gave up the ghost and broke off. I was able to unscrew it from the base. I ordered a new stubby (8") antenna on Ebay. I installed it and it works great for the radio. However when someone calls me and it connects through the radio with Bluetooth, I can hardly hear it. It is about half as loud as before. Do these things have anything to do with the other? Thanks

Nope. BT is part of OnStar not even the same antenna connected to the box.

I've had my front antenna unscrewed for a long time (MP3 player). My phone calls are almost impossible to hear also. I wouldn't think 1 had anything to do with the other, either, but I'm going to screw it back on and check. It's really annoying to not be able to hear phone calls. This is with 3 different phones.
