DVD Burner?

I have an old HP DVD 100i burner on my computer (only does DVD+RW). I have been getting some write errors lately and think it's about time to swap it out. I have been looking and seems the big trend now is the dual layer DVD's. I've seen several at "staples
http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/st...ame=DVD+Drives
But was wondering if these also burn to DVD+RW? Only one (the Sony) shows DVD+RW in the description. I still have 50+ blank disks and of course many movies on that format and would to be able to redo if I ever decide to. I noticed the "light scribe" versions and that is interesting down the road (once I have to buy more disks).

So will these also burn DVD+RW's? (I believe answer is yes). ANd anyone have any knowledge on these? Or better alternatives?

The system it is going in is a older 1.7ghz, 768 MB DDR memory computer with dual DVD drives (one burner). Still works great (little slow these days), but do plan on upgrading in a year or so. I do burn a lot of moves at times. I have some great software..... . But it's all personal use.

Thanks but I'm going to buy locally this time. The cost of burners now a days is just not worth the hassle if you have to ship back for a return/exchange.

Thanks though.
