The last box I built was in 1984. I got lazy in '89 and used Bazooka tubes. Since then, lameish stock stereos. Our Rainier and HHR have fairly decent stock setups, the HHR Pioneer being the weaker of the Two. I will address this ........stay tooned!
The Buick has a Bose system. The Vibe we traded has a system similar to the stock HHR but with more bass punch. It was needed as the Vibe is a noisey auto.
The Mini van I like offers a thirteen speaker Infinity premium audio system with In-dash CD changer and Logic7 surround sound. Wow, that's a lot 'o' words........... Stock sytems have come a long way.
