Also I got the wrong antenna adapter (wasn't aware GM changed it again from the mini one). So I get no FM, not a big deal because I don't listen to FM though.

Great job, you can cut out the rear for more room for all the wiring. I had to do that for mine. There was just no way to get all that wiring in there. I mounted my mic on the steering column.

Yea I need to take it out and fix a couple things. I did the bypass, using the mute cable, so now everytime I try to press the onstar button, it shuts the deck off. Oops.

I'm going to try and tap into the Onstar GPS antenna and microphone though.

Did your car have the Pioneer sound system? If so, any issues with the new radio working with the sub? Do the steering wheel radio controls work with the new radio? It Looks great though! G.B.

Yes I have the Pioneer system, it works with it but the volume is quite low so I'm tearing most of the factory equipment out and running my own amps. I haven't been able to program the steering wheel control interface yet, but will get to that eventually.

Yep, thats the driver front door speaker in my HHR SS with the Pioneer system.
