Having some trouble with dimmer and console lights after radio install
It all else fails, get down to you local installer and explain what has happened . Most of the local installers are just like you and I , making a living when and where we can . Avoid the Big box store , hit the local one or two store chain and they will possibly get you back to where you . I did a little search in your area and there is a review from someone who had a very similar issue . Did an install and had an issue , they got them fixed .

Give them a call or drive down and visit them . The cost should not be more than $100.00 to get you fixed. That is 2 hours shop time for your local installer @ $50.00/hour.
I pay $50.00 an hour here in Atlanta to hire my " in the dash guy ". He is worth every penny.

Great point about finding a local shop and build up some trust with them. I did that back in 2006 when I went to get my first high end head unit and they answered all the questions I had. I ended up getting a Viper alarm from them and having them install it which only took them 1 1/2 hours with no install charge! They had a small waiting area and a great selection of car mags and watching the people in the store was an adventure itself! Last year I went to a newer head unit and a couple of months ago bought one for my HHR (sold the dually) and I found I was a test case for the newer Pioneer X950BH as no one had bought one yet. I got a good discount on the installation interface, adapters, cables and such and as payback I wrote up all the things I had to do, including cutting out the back of the head unit space and how Pioneer's instructions had left out a few things. I think the guys there like dealing with people that appreciate technology as much as they do!
Thanks for the feedback. I tried the new dimmer and that did not help. I am out of ideas at this point and will bring it down to the shop soon. Car Toys is a great suggestion, I had totally forgot about that place!
