Hey Pete,

Got these off ebay. The screens are pre installed into leather headrests. I have the cloth seats, but they match pretty well.

Sure Jim,

This is the ebay item I won...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=001

I would suggest going with someone else tho. One of the infrared headphones came in broken. I emailed him, he told me to send the broken one back. I did so, and he has not sent anything as of Friday. It's been about a month.

However, there are several dealers out there you can go with. Do a search on ebay for "Head Rest Monitors". The ones I have have DVD players in BOTH. So, people in the back can watch their own movies. They also have a SD card slot and USB input. (I have not used them yet). They also come with a CD with some "pacman" type games on it and a couple game controllers.

Install was pretty easy. The kit comes with the bigger adapters. You'll need those for a snug fit. The wires run down the poles and into the back of your seats. We just pulled off the plastic cover on the back of the seat. We ran the power to the cigarette lighter between the seats.

They are pretty clear as far as screens go.

If you have any specific questions, just let me know.

I might check out ebay, I wasn't really looking but a friend had the Avalanche with the TV's and got in some hard times and the truck got repo'd so he took em out. he hasn't given me a price yet and i haven't even seen them yet so this is all in the beginning stages. How much were yours so i have a basis to go by?

$350 with shipping. You can find 9" ones too, I think they are $100 more.. They work great.

+1

I have these as well, and have the same issues with the ir 'phones. I just got the kids earbuds instead and all are happy. I have some pics in the gallery, click on the camera in my avatar space to see them. Everything else is exactly as Groovielou said.
