Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had the exact same problem. I was using the spare key and had the same type of start up problems after installing an amp. I think the car remembers the last key that was used to start it, somehow.... Glad it's back working

as to why my original key doesn't work since I disconnected the battery. I can't remember if I had the key in the ignition or not when I disconnected it........ all my chimes don't work with the new HU...........but maybe some kinda power spike confused the key memory
I'm afraid to try it again, cause then maybe my second key won't work either..
They will re-program it when I go in for my first oil change
but it just doesn't make any sense to me, what am I supposed to do if the battery dies on a trip, I have to replace it, and I don't have the spare key with me .............

now i'm afraid that something will happen such that the spare key won't work either, i'm waiting until i get to the dealership to try the first key again..
