Help request with Amp install.

I have the factory installed amp exposed. I am trying to connect an MTX T3401 using the supplied RCA connectors. The problem is that I can't find on any of the harnesses connected to the factory amp the wires I need. I have the pdf from this link : http://n8zcc.com/pics/HHR/Audio_Connectors.pdf I can't figure out what wire to use for the remote on. The diagram says pink at PIN 8 on C3, there is no pink wire there. I think I understand where to put the RCA wires according to the diagram: Pins 1-4 on C1, they state output on the diagram so I think those are what I should splice into. Please help if you can, I'd like to get this done today and these are basically the final steps. Thanks alot in advance!

Matthew

EDIT: I figured out where the wires for the speaker RCA's go, still wondering where that elusive pink wire is hiding. :)

are you looking for a switched 12 volt.... like the one to turn on the deck when you turn the key?.....you have to use the fuse panel for that if that is what you were asking ...21

I just finished installing my amp today. I have the factory pioneer system.

The pink wire on the connector C3 is the remote wire. It is in the #8 position; right above the green wire. It doesn't look pink at first, but it is indeed pink.

I recommend using the low-level audio signals from the C3 connector with your RCA wires for your amp.

If your amp takes hi-level audio signals, and you connected your RCA wires to it, most likely you won't need to connect the remote wire since your amp will sense the hi-level audio signals and turn on automatically.

what if you don't have the pioneer system? Is it still the pink one for the AAC?
