Well.. I got that harness in.. The wired pins are in the wrong places, but, there is good news.
1. The harness does fit the connectors for the stock radio.
2. It's simple to rearrange the wired pins in the harness. Just pull hard, and push into the new spots. You can use the wiring diagram that's been posted to arrange the pins.
3. A new head unit connected up to the stock speakers makes them sound SOOOOO much better.
Some other notes:
The amplifier in the Pioneer system uses the Radio On signal, not the Remote signal for it's power from the harness. I connected up some RCA ends to the harness to plug into the preouts on the new Kenwood deck and it works very well.
Thinking about now running a new set of RCAs to a small separate amp for just the sub so I have better control over the sub from the headunit. It sounds good as is, but still a bit lacking for my tastes. Hopefully this will help. Also thinking of replacing all the speakers with a good set of MQ Quarts.

Yeah, those would be MB Quarts. I have heard some that I really like, the DSE216 components. Very pricy though. If I don't go with the MB Quarts, then it's off to Audiobahns like CH did with his I think.
