Not currently. If you want to change out right now, you will have to cut the wires and wire direct. It's fairly easy though - there is a lot of extra harness that pulls out, making it easy to cut off the stock plug and still have plenty of wire. If you hook up a stereo in the normal way, the chimes and turn sig clicker will not be heard, but everything else works properly.

It's not that hard Wheelsee, here are the head unit's wiring codes:

HEAD UNIT

Radio 12v = Red/White (+) radio harness 1

Radio Ground = Black/White (-) radio harness 1

Radio Ignition = (GMLAN Serial Data)

Radio Dimmer = Gray (+) radio harness 1

Factory Amp Turn-on (same as power antenna wire)

Power Antenna = Pink (+) radio harness 1

SPEAKERS

LF Speaker: = Gray (+) Tan (-) radio harness 2

RF Speaker: = Dk. Green (+) Lt. Green (-) radio harness 2

LR Speaker: = Yellow (+) Brown (-) radio harness 2

RR Speaker: = Lt. Blue (+) Dk. Blue (-) radio harness 2

If you don't feel comfortable cutting off the stock plugs you can always use wire taps. Personally, I don't want any chimes or turn signals comng through my radio, and I also like to wire my head unit's power "Direct" so I can run it with the key off - or have the doors open with my key in and that darn bell going off!

I hope this helps; it's going to be a few months before the GM LAN pigtail is done.

GM's been using the same front speaker colors for like 15 years LOL

I'd highly suggest either using t-taps or splicing into the stock wiring and retaining the factory plugs...you'll screw yourself down the road if you ever want to reinstall the factory radio.

If anyone goes this route...you have to grab accessory either at the ignition harness or BCM, located next to the fuse panel.

My fiance has a 04 cavi that has all the same chimes and such so i was wondering if they had one that might work, but hell ill just wait, i dont want to cut the plugs and have chevy void my warrenty or something like that, i used to have a nissan sentra and they voided my warrenty for having dynomat in the trunk, so you can kinda see where i am coming from. My lawyer and i fought nissan america corp and we ended up losing the battle anyway, so i want to be on the safe side this time.

I will be installing my sound system today. I will be installing my sony deck two 12" sonys and a 2 channel amp I will be doing this myself but in all my old cars I have always used the wire harnesses. I have a question regarding what snova031 said "you have to grab accessory either at the ignition harness or BCM, located next to the fuse panel" how do I do this. And will any of this void any type of warranty.

Any of you had problems with your keyless entry and remote start no longer working after an installation of an aftermarket HU?
