HHR system build - wall, lots of mids/highs, etc
Which 3M Spray Glue are you using?
I am covering my headliner with Black Suede material, going over the headliner as is. I just Don't like the light gray with a Black Interior.
It is out of my Panel and I am adding a front dome light.
(the '08's don't have one)
There are Several spray glues but reading on 3M's web site I did not find one that was for spraying material without a foam backing.
I don't want it to soak through, and yet I don't want it coming down in a year or two either.
Thanks.
Walls looking good btw.
You guys dont use any sound dampeners in those?
I am currently adding sound proofing to my whole interior top to bottom, I have it all gutted out right now, almost done, except for the doors, but they can be done one at a time with the interior back in.

i can still access the battery, barely :)
A & P- if possible, i'd stay away from spray can adhesives. i use Weldwood contact cement (i buy it buy the gallon, stuff professional upholstery shops use) and spray it with my gun/compressor. spray the suede and the headliner, let it tack up, then cover it. itll never come loose haha
i have 3 layers of Second Skin damplifier pro on the roof, no deadening anywhere else though.

I wonder if my actual Primer gun would shoot it ?
I would not shoot it through one of my good hvlp guns for topcoats and clear coats.
Harbor freight gun for this maybe?
In order to spray the glue, there needs to be some pressure in the cup to force the glue out of the nozzle. Best way to do it is with a pressure pot, but I have an older Binks gun, and it works like a dream.
Think this cheapy will spray it? I really don't want to run contact cement through my expensive guns.

My Compressor is 6 HP with an 80 gallon tank, Commercial unit I used for doing body & fender work and auto/motorcycle paint jobs.
OK Cool, i'll just do that then. The one I pictured was 59.99.
My Primer gun is made just for Primer use, but it was a few hundred bucks so I'd rather not run anything but Primers through it.
I'll get a cheapy with the 1.8 and just toss it when done.
In my body shop days, this kinda stuff just got sent out to the trim shops.
Still waiting on the pigtail wiring for the dome light to get here, seller forgot to ship it with the dome light and other parts I bought so I am sitting here waiting.
Were in the damn 90's and Humid out so I am just sitting in the AC and waiting on the heat to break. Supposed to be HOT all week.
